Other measurement devices are also integrated in today's cranes. Some are even integrated with devices that measures wind speed to help with the calculation that the crane is working in a favorable wind condition. Tower cranes are high structures and because of this, it will sway because of the wind force. With additional load, lifting can be very dangerous on high speed winds.

If the tower crane doesn't have any load cells, you should definitely consider purchasing one. Some load cells available today have large LCD display where it can be hanged with the crane hook. This particular tool is recommended for all cranes that doesn't have an integrated load cell.

No matter what kind of construction project you are working on that involves a tower crane to operate, it is important to remember that your main priority above the deadline should be the safety of your workplace and the safety of your crew. With the proper equipments, such as the load cell, you will be able to prevent crane-related accidents.
